Cordaro has been a long time local favorite for the folks in the Hampton Roads area. In fact at the age of 18 he has already been boxing for 10 years. He grew up in the shadows of his older brothers boxing and after having looking at their trophies all his life he knew what he wanted to do. At first his father, Daniel Lamb, took him to a martial arts studio to "Toughen him up.". Cordaro was not satisfied with the regimen he found in the Karate dojo and decided he wanted to box like his siblings before him. Thats when he showed up at the Barraud Park Recreation Center in Norfolk Virginia.
With big dreams and a heart full of desire he trainied for the next year, under the training of Dan Campbell and and his father, in preperation for his appearance on the amateur boxing scene. The rest is as they say "History". some of his accomplishments are as follows:
- 150+ bouts
- 1st and 2nd Athlete of the Quarter (FY07) Virginia Association of USA Boxing
- Ranked #1 in the nation as a Junior Olympian
- 7 time Virginia State Junior Olympic Champion
- Numerous "Best of Class" titles
- Competed in the National Silver Gloves 4 times

- 2 time Virginia State USA Boxing Champion
- 2007 Virginia Golden Gloves Champion
- 2008 Virginia/North Carolina Golden Gloves Champion
